Cirrhosis
Monuments constructed upholding inequity
Broken system, Leviathan, I hope I live to see the end
When we fall the rats and roaches will have a feast
On the bloated wasteful corpse of industry
We don't have much time
Before the sands sucked dry
We are a living prelude to the end of days
Cirrhosis from excess is a gift in many ways
Poison pumps through our veins like that which is pumped in our machines
foreign wars in our name, a mirage of life is all you see
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723
